Ferrone sought to push the boundaries of production techniques with her aptly named Mixed Collection by combining fluted and smooth glass in a single design. The additional technical challenge of this design is the fact that each piece is formed entirely by hand, one at a time.
Each piece is handcrafted without the use of molds by master glassblowers. The borosilicate glass allows for a range of hot and cold applications. As is the case for all fferrone glassware collections, the Mixed Collection is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe for everyday use.
